An organic non-GMO artisanal feel-good film for the whole family about a paraplegic girl in the mountains of Himalaya

I IS FOR INDIA

In this film there is a 9 year old girl in a wheelchair, who lives in the mountainous village and really wants to go to school, despite the many obstacles. Oh, and her biggest supporter is her brother who uses his science skills from school to build various contraptions to make her life easier. If this doesn’t touch your heart, nothing will. I really enjoy a delicious cry and a feel good film once in a while, but I really detest all the Western values that usually come with such stuff made in the Western world. So to have something that delivers, and is also made in the Indian Himalayas, with colorful knits, Buddhist principles and Ladakh people at the forefront. And the little Jigmet Dewa Lhamo in the lead role, as well as the fantastic Ladakh musician Morup Namgyal playing her grandfather are fantastic.
