A series of footage filmed by different people that is brought together to show the lawlessness, the clutter, and the turmoil of contemporary life in big-city China. There was a common slogan during the times in which state socialism flourished: “the Russian and the Chinese are brothers for a century”. And I never felt it as poignantly, as when watching Disorder, with everything happening on screen, and in China, so familiar to the very particular dirty snow chaos of my homeland, Russia. Remarkable mood board of a film.
