B IS FOR BAHAMAS
I love folk tales because they offer a glimpse into a country’s history and psyche better than anything else. And this collection, albeit short, is remarkably helpful, inspiring and so well combined. I especially appreciated the author for setting things up in the introduction but then stepping back away from the tales and keeping quiet: something that white anthropologists never do.
Looking forward to read more of Patrician Glinton-Meicholas work, especially the novel “Shift in the Light”.
