C IS FOR CHINA and U IS FOR UNITED STATES

I adore hip hop in mandarin (and singdarin), but Bohan Phoenix’s recent album is even better than that, because I can actually understand the part of his lyrics in English. Not to mention that he raps about being stuck in the middle between countries, mentalities, and cultures,—I relate a lot to that. Also, it’s just really good and inventive musically: piano meets trap meets Asian instruments I can’t name. Treat yourself to this album ASAP.
