F IS FOR FRANCE
Refreshing take on the Wild West theme with a woman lead who is larger than life, sex-positive and so much fun. Very entertaining, uproariously funny, but most importantly, unabashedly feminist without trying to make a statement. I’m so fed up with comics that try to craft feminist badassery and end up with two-dimensional ideology figureheads, like Bitch Planet and Curb Stomp. Having a female badass who doesn’t give a damn, who subverts all the stereotypes, does not try to be a hero, and just lives on the page, is so satisfying. I want more!
