A pretty awesome collection of comics that deal with the happy, sad and downright absurd particularities of the Muslim-American existence. I hope that Huda Fahmy has more books coming because I could stare at her insightful, funny, self-deprecating comics all day long. And they’re not only good if you share (or sympathize with) the frustrations of an American hijabi: there are so many brilliant observations on white privilege, feminism, American exceptionalism, etc.
